THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO NETWORK WITH LIKE-MINDED
INDIVIUALS
Heard the buzz about Second Life? For brands
and their agencies seeking a more engaging online interactive with
end users, 3D social networking is the next big thing. In this new
3D environment, creative opportunities abound and campaigns can
highlight products in an interesting new way, whether they be in
fashion, media, FMCG, electronics or other segments. Already, brands
are starting to jump on board, recognising the potential of this new
segment.
Frenzoo is bringing to life a new 3D Social
Networking service specifically targeting the youth market across
Asia. Listen to Simon Newstead (in HK) and Eda Chow (in SHG &
SIN) tell us how Frenzoo offers users a cool new online experience,
one in which they can express their creativity in a rich 3D
environment and chat and share with friends in a fun and direct new
way.
This will be followed (in HK & SHG) by Napoleon
Biggs of Game Guru who will speak on "Games as an advertising
vehicle? Are you serious?". Game Guru connects brands with online
communities either via sponsoring popular multiplayer games or
creating branded casual game environments.
Finally, mobile
comics are about to overtake traditional sources of mobile content
downloads in Japan. In this talk, Andrew Harris (in SIN) and Graham
Merrett (in HK) examines the growth of mobile comics as a key mobile
content channel and the opportunities this offers brands wishing to
reach a target audience. They will also present their design and
implementation of the ‘Comicatch’ mobile comicservice developed
jointly with Tree & Me and Bell Velocity.
In Shanghai our
third speaker will be Ravi Shankar Bose of Fugumobile, a fast
growing mobile marketing and gaming company. They have developed a
platform that allows brands to stream banner advertising into mobile
games (much the same way as is done on the Internet). These ads can
be streamed based on a number of parameters and of course can be
tracked and evaluated in metrics that a brand owner can easily
grasp.
